Born and raised in France, Benoît Duché lived in New York for six years where he directed the famous French haute-couture house, Lanvin. For the past eight years, he has been writing books and long feature scripts of human interest fictions set in mixed cultural, historical,and social backgrounds..

In 1987, Benoît created OffPAGE where he developed computer graphics, websites, as well as produced and edited documentary films for Suez Finance Conseil, Fédération Française de Tennis, ICV and Beau-Fixe agencies, Saverbat, and UNESCO.

While shooting and directing several films for UNESCO about education and AIDS in Africa, he created the ‘Values Based Micro Credit’ (VBMC) in Congo with the particularity of an interest paid in time by women who share the values (responsibility, honesty, respect…) that they have implemented in their new activity.

In June 2007, he exhibited some of his watercolours at the gallery Etienne de Causans, rue de Seine in Paris and granted the profits to the VBMC in Congo.

He has written several short and long feature scripts in English and French, mixing cultures and genres, adventures and mindfulness, Plato and Quantum mechanics, India and the Parisian fashion world...…:

Slum Model, Nairod, Lastheneia, Quantic, Arpège, The Ring, Hal: A Mind's Eye (theatre), Elsewhere (trilogy), Guess Who's Come For You, The Telescope (cartoon), The Rich Attack Paris (short story)...

All of them have in common a spiritual vision in entertaining settings.

Benoît also uses the name A. Vancy to write his scripts.
